100 Beds District Hospital, Sangli

The District Hospital at Sangli was designed with a response to the Composite climate. The design incorporated shading devices on the south side to avoid glare and heat.

Healing public spaces, axial planning, segregation of vehicular and pedestrian movement, sterile corridors for emergency areas, natural lighting and ventilation, green building practices were incorporated to create a sustainable environment.

The hospital has a Ground +2 structure with an elevation design in respect to the context of the city.

The design aimed to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing healthcare facility with a built-up area of approximately 100,000 sqft.
